Voglibose Tablet MD treats type 2 diabetes by controlling high blood sugar after meals, especially when other treatments and diet are insufficient. Take it just before meals as prescribed by your doctor. Stopping suddenly may raise blood sugar levels, leading to serious complications. It should be used alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise. Common side effects include gas, stomach pain, loss of appetite, constipation, and diarrhea. Voglibose itself does not cause hypoglycemia but can contribute to it when combined with other diabetes medications. Inform your doctor about kidney or liver issues, bowel diseases, or if pregnant/breastfeeding. Avoid excessive alcohol.
